26-01 Director, Carl Chapman is a Chartered Manager and has held senior management posts in the commercial and not-for-profit sectors.   He is a former Council for Voluntary Services Chief Officer and Director of a sub regional partnership organisation.  Other appointments have included: Corporate Communications & Marketing Manager, Regional Sales Manager and Energy Efficiency Projects Manager. He currently chairs the Board of Directors of an award winning Citizens Advice Bureau.   Carl offers a wealth of knowledge and experience in: Business & Strategic Planning; Governance, Management & Leadership; Project Development & Evaluation, as well as extensive practical fundraising projects. He has been involved in developing partnerships for a range of organisations including the incorporation of a County Citizens Advice Partnership, extensive partnership development work with a sub regional VCS partnership and the development of a County wide Carers collaborative. Carl lives on the banks of the River Wear in County Durham with his wife, two energetic young sons and an annoying cat.
